The Analytics tab provides charts and financial insights that give you a high-level view of your business performance. Summary cards display key metrics at a glance, while charts help you identify trends and patterns over time. Use this data to make informed decisions about your business operations and financial planning.

  • You must have an active StartGlobal account with a registered company.
  • Your transactions should be synced and categorized for the analytics to reflect accurate data. See the Managing Transactions guide if you have uncategorized transactions.
  • Navigate to Accounting in your dashboard sidebar.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the Analytics tab.

    What to do: Click Accounting in the sidebar, then select the Analytics tab from the available tabs (Federal Tax, Books, Transactions, Analytics, E-commerce Connections, Sales Tax Dashboard).

    A dashboard view with summary cards and charts displaying your financial data.

  2. Review summary cards.

    What to do: Look at the summary cards at the top of the Analytics page.

Troubleshooting

Summary cards show zero values

Ensure your transactions are synced and categorized. If you recently connected your bank account, allow time for transactions to import and then categorize them.

Charts are not loading

Refresh the page. If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.

Data seems inaccurate

Verify that your transactions are correctly categorized. Miscategorized transactions will lead to incorrect analytics. Review the Managing Transactions guide.

Analytics tab is not visible

Ensure you are navigating through the Accounting section tabs. The Analytics tab is one of six tabs available under Accounting.
