Understanding Your Compliance Dashboard
Overview
The Compliance Dashboard is your central hub for monitoring the health and standing of your business with the state. It provides a real-time view of your company's compliance status, upcoming deadlines, and required actions. From here you can track your Registered Agent service, Annual Report filings, and Franchise Tax obligations all in one place.
Before You Begin
- You must have a StartGlobal account with an active or previously active business formation.
- You must be logged in to the StartGlobal client portal.
- Your business formation process must be completed before compliance information appears.
1. Navigate to the Compliance Dashboard

What to do: From the main dashboard, click "Compliance" in the left sidebar navigation.
- What you will see
The Compliance Dashboard loads with your Business Status Card at the top and three tabs below it: Compliance Summary, Registered Agent, and Annual Report.
2. Review Your Business Status Card

What to do: Look at the card displayed at the top of the page. Note the status badge next to your company name.
- What you will see
Your company name, formation date, and a colored status badge indicating your current standing:
- Active (green) -- Your business is in good standing with the state.
- At Risk (orange) -- One or more compliance items need attention soon.
- Canceled (red) -- Your business has been marked as inactive by the state.
- Archived (gray) -- Your business record has been archived.
- Dissolved -- Your business has been formally dissolved.
- Dissolving -- A dissolution process is currently underway.
3. Check Your Service Status Badges

What to do: Below the status badge, review the individual service indicators for Registered Agent and State Annual Report.
- What you will see
Each service displays one of the following statuses:
- VALID -- The service is current and in good standing.
- DUE SOON -- The service requires renewal or action in the near future.
- CANCELED -- The service has lapsed or been canceled.
4. Explore the Compliance Summary Tab

What to do: Click the "Compliance Summary" tab (selected by default).
- What you will see
An overview of all compliance obligations, including upcoming due dates, pending payments, and any documents ready for download.
5. Explore the Registered Agent Tab

What to do: Click the "Registered Agent" tab.
- What you will see
Details about your Registered Agent service, including the renewal amount, due date, and any penalty information if the service has lapsed.
6. Explore the Annual Report Tab

What to do: Click the "Annual Report" tab.
- What you will see
Information about your state's annual report or franchise tax filing requirements, due dates, and payment options.
What Happens Next
- Once you have reviewed your dashboard, take action on any items marked as DUE SOON or AT RISK.
- Each tab provides direct links to pay fees, file reports, or renew services.
- Keeping all items in VALID or Active status ensures your business remains in good standing with the state.
