Changing Your Password
Overview
Keeping your password secure is essential for protecting your StartGlobal account and business information. The Security settings tab is where you update your password by providing your current password and choosing a new one. This guide walks you through the password change process step by step.
Before You Begin
- You must be logged in to your StartGlobal dashboard at app.startglobal.co.
- You must know your current password. If you have forgotten it, use the "Forgot Password" option on the login page instead.
- Choose a strong new password before starting (at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters is recommended).
1. Navigate to Security Settings

Click your profile avatar (circle with your initials) in the top-right corner of the navbar, then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

2. Open the Security Tab

Click the "Security" tab, described as "Password and account recovery."

3. Enter Your Current Password

Click the "Current password" field and type your existing password.

4. Enter Your New Password

Click the "New password" field and type your desired new password.

5. Confirm Your New Password

Click the "Confirm password" field and type your new password again exactly as you entered it in the previous field.

6. Save Your New Password

Click the save or submit button to apply your password change.

What Happens Next
- Your password is updated immediately.
- The next time you log in (on this device or any other), you will need to use your new password.
- If you have saved your password in a browser or password manager, remember to update it there as well.
