Your profile contains your personal details, profile picture, and contact information used across the StartGlobal platform. Keeping this information accurate is important for compliance, communication, and document preparation. This guide walks you through updating your personal information, managing contacts, and uploading banking documents.

  • You must be logged in to your StartGlobal dashboard at app.startglobal.co.
  • Have your updated personal details ready before starting.
  1. Click your profile avatar (circle with your initials) in the top-right corner of the navbar, then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

    What you will see

    The Settings page with multiple tabs. The Profile tab will be selected by default, described as "Personal information and contacts."

2. Update Your Profile Picture

  1. Click on your current profile picture or the upload area at the top of the Profile section.

    What you will see

    A file picker dialog will open, allowing you to select an image from your device.

  2. Choose your preferred profile picture and confirm the upload.

    What you will see

    Your new profile picture will replace the previous one and will be displayed across the dashboard, including in the navbar avatar.

3. Update Your Name and Country

  1. Locate the form fields for First Name, Last Name, and Country.

  2. Edit the fields you want to update with your correct information.

  3. Click the save or submit button to apply your changes.

    What you will see

    A confirmation that your profile has been updated successfully.

4. Manage Banking Documents

  1. Scroll down to the "Banking Documents" section on the Profile page.

    What you will see

    A section where you can upload or manage documents related to your banking setup.

  2. Upload any required documents by clicking the upload area and selecting files from your device.

5. View Your Primary Contact

  1. Scroll to the "Primary Contact" section.

    What you will see

    Your primary email address displayed as read-only. This is the email you used to create your account and cannot be changed from this screen.

6. Manage Secondary Contacts

  1. Scroll to the "Secondary Contacts" section.

    What you will see

    A list of any secondary contact email addresses or phone numbers you have added.

  2. Add, edit, or remove secondary contacts as needed.

What Happens Next

  • Your updated information will be reflected across the StartGlobal platform, including in any documents generated on your behalf, communications, and your profile display.
  • If you changed your name, updated documents may use your new name going forward.

Troubleshooting

Profile picture upload fails

Ensure the image is in a supported format (JPG, PNG, GIF) and is not too large. Try a smaller file.

Changes not saving

Check your internet connection. Ensure all required fields are filled in correctly. Refresh the page and try again.

Primary email showing an old address

The primary email cannot be changed from the profile page. Contact support for assistance.

Banking documents section not visible

This section may only appear if you have an active formation requiring banking documents.
