Viewing and Completing Action Items

Overview

Action items are tasks that require your attention to keep your company formation and business operations moving forward. They appear on your dashboard home page under a dedicated section and can include document signatures, external actions, and in-app navigation tasks. This guide explains how to find, understand, and complete your action items.

  • You must be logged in to your StartGlobal dashboard at app.startglobal.co.
  • Navigate to the HOME section from the sidebar to see your action items.

1. Locate the Action Items Section

  1. From the sidebar, click "HOME" to go to your dashboard home page.

    What you will see

    Below the welcome message and Business Status Card, you will see a section with the header ACTION ITEMS displayed in blue, uppercase text.

2. Review Your Action Items

  1. Scan the list of action items displayed under the ACTION ITEMS header.

    What you will see

    Each action item shows a title and a brief description of what needs to be done. Items are listed in priority order.

3. Complete a Signature Action

Signature actions require you to sign a document electronically.

  1. Click on the action item that requires a signature.

    What you will see

    A Documenso signing modal will open within the dashboard, displaying the document that needs your signature.

  2. Review the document carefully and follow the on-screen prompts to place your electronic signature.

    What you will see

    After signing, a toast notification will appear reading "Perfect! {Document Title} signed successfully." The action item will be removed from your list.

External link actions direct you to a third-party website to complete a task.

  1. Click on the action item labeled with an external link indicator.

    What you will see

    A new browser tab will open, taking you to the external website where you need to complete the required task (such as a partner application or verification step).

  2. Complete the task on the external website, then return to the StartGlobal dashboard.

    What you will see

    The action item status will update once the system detects the task has been completed. This may take a few minutes.

Navigation actions take you to a specific page within the StartGlobal dashboard.

  1. Click on the action item.

    What you will see

    You will be redirected to the relevant page within the dashboard where you can complete the required task (such as filling in a form or reviewing information).

  2. Complete the task on the destination page.

    What you will see

    The action item will be marked as completed once the task is done.

What Happens Next

  • As you complete action items, they are removed from your list.
  • New action items may appear as your formation progresses or as new tasks become available.
  • Completing all action items promptly helps ensure your company formation proceeds without delays.

Troubleshooting

No action items are displayed

This means you have no pending tasks. Check back later or review your formation progress for any steps that need attention.

Signature modal did not open

Ensure pop-ups are allowed for app.startglobal.co. Refresh the page and try again.

Completed the task but action item still showing

Allow a few minutes for the system to update. Refresh the page. If the item persists after 15 minutes, contact support.

External link action opened a broken page

The external service may be temporarily unavailable. Try again later. If the issue persists, create a support ticket.
