Overview

The Billing Portal provides a complete record of all your transactions with StartGlobal, including one-time purchases, subscription payments, and refunds. You can also manage your payment methods from this section. This guide walks you through viewing your transaction history and managing payment methods.

  • You must be logged in to your StartGlobal dashboard at app.startglobal.co.
  • You must have made at least one purchase or have an active subscription to see transaction history.
  1. Click your profile avatar (circle with your initials) in the top-right corner of the navbar, then select "Billing" from the dropdown menu.

    What you will see

    The Billing Portal page with three main sections: Payment Methods, Subscription Products, and Transaction History.

2. View Your Payment Methods

  1. Look at the "Payment Methods" section at the top of the Billing page.

    What you will see

    A list of your saved payment methods, including card type, last four digits, and expiration date. You may also see options to add, update, or remove payment methods through the Stripe Portal.

3. View Transaction History

  1. Scroll to the "Transaction History" section.

    What you will see

    A chronological list of all transactions, with the most recent transactions displayed first. Each transaction entry includes the transaction date, a description of the service or product, the amount charged, and the payment status (succeeded, pending, failed, refunded).

4. Review a Specific Transaction

  1. Click on a transaction entry to view its details.

    What you will see

    A detailed view of the transaction, including the full service description, amount, payment method used, and any applicable reference numbers.

5. Manage Payment Methods via Stripe Portal

  1. Click the Stripe Portal link on the Billing page.

    What you will see

    The Stripe customer portal will open in a new tab, where you can:

    • Add a new payment method.
    • Update an existing card's details.
    • Set a default payment method.
    • View and download invoices.

What Happens Next

  • Your transaction history is automatically updated with each new purchase or subscription payment.
  • You can return to the Billing Portal at any time to review past transactions, download invoices from the Stripe Portal, or update your payment methods.
  • Keeping a valid payment method on file ensures uninterrupted service for your subscriptions.

Troubleshooting

Transaction history is empty

You may not have made any purchases yet. If you believe this is an error, contact support.

Cannot find a specific transaction

Scroll through the history or look for it in the Stripe Portal. Transactions are listed in reverse chronological order.

Payment method not updating

Use the Stripe Portal for payment method management. Ensure the new card details are valid.

Stripe Portal not loading

Check that pop-ups are allowed for app.startglobal.co. Try opening the portal link directly in a new browser tab.

Unexpected charge appearing

Review the transaction description for details. If the charge is unrecognized, contact support immediately. See Creating a Support Ticket.
