Viewing Your Registered Agent Information
Overview
A registered agent is a person or entity designated to receive legal and official documents on behalf of your business. StartGlobal provides registered agent services as part of your company formation. This guide explains how to view your registered agent details and understand the status of this step in your formation progress.
Before You Begin
- You must have an active formation order with StartGlobal.
- You should be logged in to your StartGlobal dashboard at app.startglobal.co.
1. Navigate to the Formation Progress

What to do: From the sidebar, click "HOME" to go to your dashboard home page.

2. Open the Registered Agent Step

What to do: In the formation progress stepper, click on the "Registered Agent" step. This is the first step in the formation flow.
- What you will see
The Registered Agent step will be highlighted. If completed, it will show a green checkmark. If it is your current step, it will be highlighted in blue.
3. Review Your Registered Agent Details

What to do: Read through the registered agent information displayed on the screen.
- What you will see
Details about your assigned registered agent, including:
- The registered agent's name or entity name.
- The registered agent's address in your formation state.
- The current status of the registered agent assignment.
4. Understand the Status

What to do: Check the status indicator on the Registered Agent step.
- What you will see
One of the following statuses:
- Completed (green checkmark) -- Your registered agent is assigned and active. You can proceed to the next step.
- Current (blue) -- The registered agent assignment is being processed.
- Incomplete (gray) -- This step has not been started yet (rare, as it is the first step).
What Happens Next
- Once the Registered Agent step is completed and shows a green checkmark, the State Filing step becomes available.
- You can click on State Filing to begin the next phase of your company formation.
- Your registered agent will remain active for the duration of your service and will forward any official documents received on behalf of your company.

Registered Agent step not showing any details
Your formation order may still be in the initial setup phase. Allow some time for the information to populate, or contact support.

Contact support immediately to have the details corrected before proceeding with state filing.
