How to Accept an Account Invitation

Overview

If someone has invited you to join a StartGlobal account, you will receive an email with a secure invitation link. Clicking the link will take you to a page where you can set up your password and activate your account. The process takes less than a minute.

  • You must have received an invitation email from StartGlobal.
  • Have access to the email inbox where the invitation was sent.
  • Be ready to create a strong password for your new account.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the invitation email from StartGlobal in your inbox.

    Look for the invitation email. Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it in your primary inbox.

  2. Click the invitation link in the email.

    What you will see

    You will be taken to the account setup page with two fields: Create password and Confirm password.

  3. Enter a password in the Create password field.

    Choose a strong password that meets the following requirements:

    • At least 8 characters long
    • Contains at least one uppercase letter
    • Contains at least one lowercase letter
    • Contains at least one number
  4. Re-enter the same password in the Confirm password field.

    Type the exact same password to confirm it matches.

  5. Submit the form to create your account.

    What you will see

    A success message: "Account created successfully." You will be automatically redirected to the login page after 3 seconds.

  6. Log in with your email address and the password you just created.

What Happens Next

  • After the success message, you will be automatically redirected to the login page within 3 seconds.
  • Log in using your email (the one where you received the invitation) and your newly created password.
  • Once logged in, you will have access to the account you were invited to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Troubleshooting

The invitation link shows an error or does not load.

The link may have expired or already been used. Contact the person who invited you to request a new invitation.

"Password must be at least 8 characters" error.

Make sure your password is at least 8 characters long with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.

Passwords do not match error.

Ensure the text in the Create password and Confirm password fields is exactly the same.

The page does not redirect after account creation.

If the automatic redirect does not happen after 3 seconds, manually navigate to the login page.

I cannot log in after creating my account.

Make sure you are using the email address where the invitation was sent and the password you just created. If you forgot the password already, see How to Reset Your Password.
