Generating Payment Links
Overview
Payment Links let you create shareable URLs that your clients can use to make payments without needing a formal invoice. They are ideal for one-time charges, deposits, or any situation where you want a quick way to collect payment. This guide covers how to create and manage payment links from your Invoicing dashboard.
Before You Begin
- Your Invoicing service must be activated with a connected Stripe account. See Activating the Invoicing Service if you have not done this yet.
- Decide on the amount, description, and intended recipient for the payment link before you begin.

From the main navigation, go to Invoicing and click the Payment Links tab.
What you will seeThe Payment Links page with the title "Payment Links" and the description "Create shareable payment links..." If you have no payment links yet, an empty state message reads "No payment links yet." Information sections explain what payment links are and how to use them.

Using Your QuickPay Link
In addition to individual payment links, your Invoicing dashboard provides a QuickPay link (e.g., quickpay.to/publicnote) that serves as a general payment page for your business.
-
From the Invoicing tab, locate the QuickPay info card on the dashboard.
What you will seeA card displaying your QuickPay URL with a copy button.
-
Click the copy button next to your QuickPay URL.
What you will seeA toast message confirms: "QuickPay link copied!" The URL is now on your clipboard.
-

What Happens Next
- When a client clicks your payment link, they are taken to a secure payment page powered by Stripe where they can complete their payment.

- You can track the status of each payment link from the Payment Links tab.
