Overview

The payment step is where you review your order summary and complete the purchase to begin your LLC formation. All selected products are listed with their pricing, and payment is processed securely through Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, you will move into the formation flow where you provide your business and personal details.

  • Have a valid credit or debit card ready for payment.
  • Review the products you selected in the previous steps, as the summary will reflect your choices.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Review the order summary.

    Carefully review the list of products and their prices on the payment page.

    What you will see

    A page titled "Summary" displaying all selected products sorted by price from highest to lowest. Each product shows its name and price. A Total amount is displayed at the bottom of the list.

  2. Verify the total amount.

    Confirm that the total matches what you expect based on your selections (formation fee plus any optional add-ons).

    The total is calculated automatically and displayed prominently.

  3. Enter your payment details.

    Fill in your credit or debit card information in the Inline Payment Form. Enter your card number, expiration date, CVC, and billing details as prompted.

    A secure payment form powered by Stripe, with fields for your card information. The form supports major credit card brands.

  4. Submit your payment.

    Click the payment/submit button to process your transaction.

    What you will see

    A brief loading state while the payment is being processed.

  5. Confirm payment success.

    Wait for the confirmation message to appear.

    What you will see

    A success message reading "Payment Successful! Your payment has been processed successfully. Please continue to the next step." The "Go Back" button will become disabled, as payment cannot be reversed from this screen.

  6. Proceed to the formation flow.

    Click the "Continue" button to begin entering your LLC formation details.

    You will be taken to the welcome stage of the formation flow.

What Happens Next

  • After successful payment, you will enter the LLC formation flow starting with a welcome screen that outlines the information and documents you will need.
  • From there, you will complete your company information, responsible party details, member details, beneficial owner information, review, and electronic signatures.

Frequently Asked Questions

Troubleshooting

Payment is declining.

Verify that your card number, expiration date, and CVC are entered correctly. Ensure the card has sufficient funds and that international transactions are enabled if you are outside the U.S. Contact your bank if the issue continues.

The page is stuck on loading after submitting payment.

Do not refresh the page immediately, as the payment may still be processing. Wait at least 30 seconds. If it remains stuck, check your email for a payment confirmation before attempting again. Contact support if you are unsure whether the payment went through.

I was charged but did not see the success message.

Check your email for a payment receipt. Log out and log back in to see if your account reflects the payment. Contact StartGlobal support with your transaction details if the issue persists.

The "Go Back" button is disabled.

This is expected behavior after a successful payment. You cannot return to modify your product selections after payment. Contact support if you need to make changes.
