Reviewing and Submitting Formation Data
Overview
The Review step is your final opportunity to verify all the information you have provided before it is submitted for LLC formation. Every detail -- company information, responsible party, member details, and beneficial owners -- is displayed in a read-only summary format. Once you confirm and submit, the data is locked in and cannot be edited, so review everything carefully.
Before You Begin
- You must have completed all previous formation steps (Company Information, Responsible Party, Member Details, and Beneficial Owners).
- Take a moment to gather any reference documents (notes, legal names, addresses) to cross-check the information shown on screen.
- Understand that confirming submission is a final action and you will not be able to edit the details afterward.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Review the Company Details section.
Read through the company information displayed in the summary.
What you will seeA page titled "Review your details" with a Company Details section showing your preferred LLC name, alternate name, formation state, effective date, industry, website, and business description.

Review the Responsible Party section.
Verify the Responsible Party's personal details, contact information, and address.
What you will seeA Responsible Party and Members section displaying the Responsible Party's full name, SSN/ITIN (masked for security -- only the last few digits are visible), phone number, email, and full address.

Review the Members section.
Verify each member's name, contact information, address, and ownership percentage.
What you will seeA list of all LLC members with their details. Ownership percentages are shown for each member.

Review the Indirect Beneficial Owners section (if applicable).
If you added any indirect beneficial owners, verify their details.
What you will seeAn Indirect Beneficial Owners section displaying any additional beneficial owners added beyond the direct members.

Go back to edit if needed.
If you find any incorrect information, click the "EDIT DETAILS" button to return to the formation steps and make corrections.
What you will seeYou will be taken back to the formation flow where you can navigate to the relevant step and update the information.

Read the finality alert.
Read the alert message at the bottom of the review page.
TipAn alert stating "All details are final and you can't edit this after clicking on the confirm button." This is a reminder that once you confirm, changes cannot be made.

Confirm and submit.
Once you have verified all details and are satisfied, click the "CONFIRM AND START LLC FORMATION" button on desktop, or the "CONFIRM FORMATION" button on mobile.
What you will seeA brief processing state while your formation data is submitted. After successful submission, you will be taken to the Signatures step.
What Happens Next
- After confirming your formation data, you will be taken to the electronic signatures step.
- StartGlobal will generate the legal documents required for your LLC formation, and you will need to sign each one electronically.
- The document generation process begins automatically once you confirm.
