Answering the New Business Questionnaire
Overview
After selecting "Just getting started" on the signup page, you will be guided through a short 4-question questionnaire. These questions help StartGlobal understand your business needs so we can tailor your experience and recommend the right services for you.
Before You Begin
- You must have selected "Just getting started" on the business type selection screen.
Step 1: How Far Along Is Your Business?
What to do: Select the option that best describes your current business stage.

| Option | When to Choose |
|---|---|
| Just starting now | You are beginning from scratch with a new business idea. |
| Already have customers/revenue | Your business is up and running and generating income. |
| Launching soon (1-2 months) | You are close to launch and need to get your legal structure in place. |
| Planning for the future | You are researching and planning but not ready to launch immediately. |
Click your choice -- it will be highlighted in blue. Then click NEXT (with the arrow icon) to proceed.
Step 2: Employee Plans
What to do: Select how many employees you plan to have in your first year.

| Option | When to Choose |
|---|---|
| Just me | You will be the sole operator of the business. |
| 1 - 4 | You plan to hire a small team. |
| 5 - 9 | You plan to build a mid-sized team. |
| 10 + | You plan to hire 10 or more employees. |
Click your choice, then click NEXT to proceed.
Step 3: Business Type
What to do: Indicate whether this is a side business or your primary income source.

|---|---|
| Side business | You have another primary source of income and this is a secondary venture. |
| Primary income | This business will be (or already is) your main source of income. |
Click your choice, then click NEXT to proceed.
Step 4: Business Experience
What to do: Select your level of experience running a business.

|---|---|
| None | This is your first time running a business. |
| Some | You have some prior experience with business operations. |
| Lots | You are an experienced business owner or entrepreneur. |
Click your choice, then click NEXT to proceed to account creation.
What Happens Next
- After answering all 4 questions, you will be taken to the account creation page where you will enter your personal details (name, email, password, phone number) to create your StartGlobal account.
