Overview

Phone recharges add funds to your US Phone Number balance so that calls can continue to be forwarded and services remain active. You can choose from preset recharge amounts and pay securely through the StartGlobal portal. Recharging is quick and your balance updates immediately after payment.

  • You must have an active StartGlobal account with an active US Phone Number subscription.
  • Have a valid payment method ready (credit or debit card).
  • Navigate to Utilities in your dashboard sidebar.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to the phone recharge page.

    Click "Utilities" in the sidebar, then select the "US Phone Number" tab. Look for the recharge option on the page.

    The recharge interface with the title "Recharge your Phone Number".

  2. Select a recharge amount.

    Choose one of the preset recharge amounts displayed as grid buttons: $10, $25, $50, or $100.

    What you will see

    The selected amount is highlighted, and the payment button at the bottom updates to reflect your choice.

  3. Confirm and pay.

    Click the "Pay $[selectedAmount]" button (e.g., "Pay $25") to proceed with payment.

    What you will see

    A payment flow opens where you can confirm or enter your payment details.

  4. Complete the payment.

    Follow the payment prompts to finalize the transaction.

    What you will see

    A confirmation that your payment was processed. Your phone balance on the "US Phone Number" page updates to reflect the added funds.

What Happens Next

  • Your phone balance increases immediately after a successful payment.
  • The "Your Phone Balance" section on the US Phone Number tab reflects the new total.
  • If you previously had a low balance alert ("YOUR PHONE BALANCE IS LOW"), it will disappear once your balance is sufficient.
  • Your call forwarding and other phone services continue without interruption.

Troubleshooting

Payment fails or is declined

Verify that your card details are correct and that the card has sufficient funds. Try a different payment method if the issue persists.

Balance does not update after payment

Refresh the US Phone Number page. If the balance still does not reflect the recharge, wait a few minutes and refresh again. Contact support if the issue persists.

Recharge buttons are not clickable

Refresh the page. Ensure you have an active phone subscription. If your subscription has expired, you may need to renew it before recharging.

"Pay" button shows wrong amount

Make sure you have clicked and selected the desired amount from the grid buttons. The button label should update to match your selection.
